J. Gary Dolinsky, Ph.D., DABPS
Dr. Gary Dolinsky is a clinical psychologist who has specialized in mind-body health and wellness approaches since 1982. He has over 27 years of experience in treating individuals with a variety of presenting problems, including anxiety disorders, stress-related conditions, chronic pain and mood disorders. He has also conducted organizational consultation to schools, municipal departments, private businesses and health service programs in New York and Massachusetts on stress-related topics. Dr. Dolinsky has consulted with executives and managers from corporations, including Verizon, Malden Mills, Siemens Corporation, Digital, American Red Cross, IBM, U.S. Air, Hewlett Packard and Fleet Bank.
Dr. Dolinsky has also served as a consultant to the U.S. Postal Service, performing evaluations and providing information on employee stress and workplace difficulties. He has led numerous workshops on Stress and Stress Management on Boston's North Shore.
Dr. Dolinsky has lectured on behavior therapy and health psychology. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology at Alliant Univeristy/California School of Professional Psychology and completed his internship training at the U.C. Davis Medical Center. Dr. Dolinsky is a former Harvard Medical School Fellow and completed a 2-year Advanced Fellowship in Behavioral Medicine at The Cambridge Hospital in 1997. He also completed advanced training in cognitive-behavioral therapy in 1990 at the Boston Institute of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies.
He was awarded a Diplomate in Medical Psychology by the American Board of Psychological Specialties in December 1998.
Dr Dolinsky was also a Clinical Instructor in Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and was on the Faculty, Behavioral Medicine Program @ The Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, MA. between 2001 - 2006. He is currently on sabattical from that position in order to devote more time to his practice. Dr. Dolinsky has taught in the Psychology Department at Endicott College in Beverly, MA, and has served as adjunct faculty to New England Antioch College in New Hampshire.
Dr. Dolinsky established his private practice in 1988 and is located in Middleton, Massachusetts.
